Tate Arrest Shines Light on Climate Denial’s Low T Energy

Manosphere influencer, sex trafficking dirtbag and (of course) climate denier Andrew Tate has been arrested, again, this weekend, and the clips have gone gloriously viral. This week also, Defense Secretary (self styled as “Department of War”) Pete Hegseth called for members of the military to have their testosterone levels evaluated, and if necessary, enhanced.
Suspect he will be first in line?

Readers here will remember Tate coming off on the losing end of a social media tiff with Greta Thunberg in 2022. (below)
The larger question worth exploring is, what have we learned about the psycho sexual dimension of climate denial?
Above, Paul Krugman discussed recently with Heather Cox Richardson.
Richardson points to the compulsion in the modern Republican Party to assert domination over women, minorities, and nature.
Tate’s decision to pick a fight with Thunberg showcased both his hatred and fear of women, and his antipathy toward a living planet.

Guardian:

Cars are routinely tokens of virility and status for men, and the image accompanying his tweet of him pumping gas into one of his vehicles, coupled with his claims about their “enormous emissions”, had unsolicited dick pic energy. Thunberg seemed aware of that when she replied: “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com.”

Below, the arrest.

Enter the Trump administration, which over and over again has insisted that “Domination” be a key part of any discussion of energy.

The White House:

  • Expanded Access to Federal Lands: President Trump opened hundreds of millions of acres for oil, gas, and coal production, reversing prior restrictions and prioritizing American resources.
  • Surge in Drilling Permits: The Trump Administration’s has approved nearly 6,000 applications for permits to drill on federal lands — a 55% increase compared to the same period in 2024-2025 — accelerating domestic energy development and creating jobs.
  • Revitalizing Beautiful, Clean Coal: President Trump committed $625 million to reinvigorate America’s beautiful clean coal industry, supporting modernization, recommissioning, and reliable baseload power for communities and the grid.
American energy dominance is delivering real benefits to hardworking families across the country.

In keeping with this manly agenda, the Department of Energy (DOE) office responsible for administering loans and loan guarantees—formerly known as the Loan Programs Office (LPO) and recently renamed the Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF).

Heritage Foundation:

Energy dominance is not a slogan—it is a cornerstone of national power. It underpins economic resilience, strengthens alliances, and deters adversaries. In a world where energy is both a commodity and a weapon, the United States cannot afford to cede control to regimes that do not share its values.

The choice of the anything-but-dominant dwarf Chris Wright to head the DOE is only explicable when you understand that the fracking millionaire gave most of a million dollars to the Trump campaign. (originally a “never-Trump” Republican in 2016, Wright has demonstrated moral and ethical flexibility as conditions changed). Will gender affirming hormone replacement be available to other cabinet members as well?

Below, in a discussion with “Christian” influencer Benny Johnson, Tate is greeted with admiration by former Trump attorney Alina Habba.

Finally, I discussed the topic some years ago with journalist Amy Westervelt, (while misspelling her name in the Chiron, apologies).

UPDATE:
Will Andrew Tate’s fashion sense have a lasting effect on suggestible MAGA followers?
