Local Iowa TV report from WOI-DT in Des Moines on Wind Turbine blade recycling.
One common bogus objection to wind energy is the supposed massive problem of recycling wind turbine blades.
For reference, it is expected that there will be 25,000 tons globally of used wind turbine blades by 2025.
In the next year, the world will produce one billion tons of coal ash, one of the most toxic industrial wastes known to man, which will be stacked into ponds, 90 percent of which, when tested, have been shown to be leaking lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, and hundreds of other nasty combustion products into ground and surface waters.
So yeah, another bogus objection to clean energy easily solved.
