It makes a difference when those big trucks plow great wakes further up into people’s homes. One jackass driver (in a company logo truck) was driving too fast through a flooded (poorer) neighborhood and when they asked him to slow down he sped up. He was caught on camera and the company fired him.
I wonder how much more water the storm drains could have handled if not for litter clogging the grates. Look for fines to be jacked way higher in the near future.
