What they find out is that the lurid Facebook tales of Zombie Apocalypse accompanying a wind development are incorrect. The Zombies never show up.
No disasters, no disease, and property values keep going up.
The best cure for misinformation is real life, and these stories need to be shared as much as possible.
Aw, who are you going to believe – assessors and other officials right in the area, with on-the-ground experience, or people sweeping in from outside with rumors and fearmongering?
