I wonder at those job gains for solar: Could it be just the installation phase for the many new solar farms and smaller systems (rooftops, community)? In the steady state, I would expect more labor required to maintain any thermal power plant than a similar sized solar or even wind power plant. For a solar array you’d need cleaning and occasional replacement of a damaged or failing panel, and not have to deal with all of that expensive industrial plumbing and all of those moving parts (pumps, conveyor belts, etc.) associated with thermal.
