Jeff Ostrander, Village Manager of Breckenridge, Michigan. I asked Jeff how tax revenues from wind turbines contribute to the health, safety, and welfare of his community.
Below, similar thoughts from farmer, former Planning Commission Chair, and Newspaper editor Deb Comstock, of Lenawee County, in Southeast Michigan.

He’s glad for the revenue, just like towns that get fracking dollars, so it’s not implied proof that Big Wind sprawl is ecologically healthy. Natural gas often backs up ugly wind “farms,” as well. That’s physical reality, not AGW-denial or right-wing stuff.
You’re losing the “100% renewables” propaganda war, anyhow. A major BIPARTISAN NUCLEAR funding bill was passed on 2/28/24 by a vote of 365-36, only opposed by faux “clean” energy zealots who disrespect wildlife that flies through their gauntlets, or people trying to sleep nearby.
Nuclear power will become prominent for pragmatic reasons and its much smaller footprint is a major extra benefit for nature. Scenery shouldn’t increasingly look like Coney Island everywhere we turn.
