Well, no, like oily execs and congress, I’m lying. I know exactly why they weren’t arrested, because except for about a dozen progressives, both parties in all 3 houses are inextricably tied up with fossil fuels, directly or in. Democrats are using Republicans’ and now Sinemancha’s (S&M’s) resistance to cover their own complicity and delay both change and reckoning, S&M are using Republican and Democratic complicity to keep their moment on the razor’s edge going, Democrats and Republicans collaborate, consciously or un, to use the Lesser Evil Gambit and other techniques to prevent a shift to the left where the vast majority of the public and massive loss of profits are. Of course they weren’t arrested.
