      1. OOOPs! Yes, this feeble attempt to twist Melania’s embarrassment on inauguration day into a joke proves it. Chucky is a “Wise fool” indeed!

        1. Ah yes, Chucky and his fellow sophomoric masturbators have now awarded me THREE thumbs down. I shall wear them with honor, knowing that they are really a sign of respect for me and evidence of their impotence. I’d also bet that they need to view a whole bunch of porn to overcome their impotence and get it up when they DO **** off.

  1. To get back to a more serious discussion of the Orange Turd’s SOTU speech, I must say that it’s VERY VERY VERY difficult to watch Trump from a distance of 2 feet away on the computer monitor without upchucking. It was hard enough to watch from across the room last night—-thank goodness that Colbert broke it up and cut away soon enough to avoid that.

It was interesting to hear that Trump delivered words at only half the rate of other presidents—-all that pausing, strutting, and preening ate up a lot of time and reinforced the Mussolini comparison.

  2. It is too bad that comedy program watchers did not show up to vote. Official numbers claim the official turnout was slightly less than 55% (almost the lowest number anywhere in the western world). History teaches that low turnout in democaracies almost always yields a conservative winner (just look at BREXIT) while higher turnout almost always yields a liberal result (look at Trudeau in Canada where the turnout was 69%). So for the people who claim that Hilary actually won, both the senate as well as the house of representatives swung to the right so I think it is safe to say that Hillary winning the popular vote was nothing more than a fluke.

    1. You oversimplify. We can write books (some have) and debate forever about why Hillary lost, but calling her popular vote win “nothing more than a fluke” because the House and Senate went Repugnant ignores the fact that gerrymandering is the real problem in the USA.

Do you have gerrymandering in Canada? With the help of groups like ALEC, The GOP has been working to take over governorships and statehouses and has been succeeding. On the national level, gerrymandering has perhaps not had as much impact in the Senate (which is close to 50-50 anyway), but the House has definitely been pushed right by voting district manipulation.
