Bill Paxton passed. This is his most memorable role for me.
I think the movie started something that continues to this day.
Reminded also that this was an important early role for Philip Seymour Hoffman, as a suitably scrubby grad student.

The last video is by Reed Timmer. He used to be a part of the Discovery channels Storm Chasers show. He tweeted yesterday that he and a lot of the current storm chasers were inspired by Bill and Twister and then even put his initials into the storm tracker system in honor of him.
