This video is several months old, but quite interesting nonetheless.
Suzanne Goldenberg of the Guardian attends the most recent Heartland Institute Climate denial conference, just as the news came out about the Pope’s encyclical on Climate Change.
Hilarity ensues.
My own take on the Heartland conference of 2012, below.

Reblogged this on A Green Road Daily News.
What are the chances of having TVMOB arrested for falsification of documents for that fake birth certificate?
Between zero and none. Unless it was somehow used to perpetrate a fraud that violated a law—to steal someone’s identity and money maybe—-it’s not illegal. In fact, I’d be willing to bet that some bright capitalist “entrepreneur” has even thought of selling fake Hawaiian birth certificates to morons as a right-wing joke.
Just as that complete asshole and charlatan Monckton cannot be prosecuted for the disrespect he shows the American flag with that shirt he wears in the clip, since the Flag Code is just a guideline, not law. And his cowboy hat fits nicely with the fact that Monckton is All Hat, No Cattle, as are all the Heartlanders and deniers. (PS I love how Monckton stands up and tells the world that he has no business talking about climate change since he knows no science—just as Russell Cook did—why does anyone listen to these morons?)
