“Richard Alley, a leading climate scientist at Penn State University, reviewed the new research.
“This new study confirms, and expands upon earlier evidence, that significant sea‑level rise occurred at a time when the causes of warming were not especially extreme, providing a warning of the damage we might cause if we continue to warm the climate,” Alley noted.
The fossil soil at Greenland’s summit, locked beneath nearly two miles of ice, speaks plainly: polar ice sheets can retreat far and fast when the climate tips, and the coastlines of the future will trace that story in real time. ”

Thanks for that link. BTW, this reminds me of the blurb last week indicating that the rate of SLR (sea level rise) had just hit 4.6 mm / year. Deniers can debate what thew like, but SLR, which is the collective result of all warming, is PROOF of man-made climate change.
Eureka!
I hope the denying delayalists straighten you out on that. Proof is for geometry and liquor; SLR is merely evidence that people are throwing more things into rivers and seas. A lot of it is trash but most is dirt and rocks thrown in by liberals and communists (really, is there a difference?) to make it seem like sea level is rising.
I just made a trip to the bay last week on my bike and threw in some old pots and pans I can’t use on the induction cooker. I took before and after photos and b’gosh, there it is, rising!
I have to repeat my standard rant:
Never use the measure of global mean sea level (GMSL) around non-experts. They won’t appreciate that local sea level measurements are what matter.
