River Flooding Back on in Texas Now

The Lampasas River in Kempner, TX has risen 32 feet in 5 hours.

On the morning of July 13, 2025, extreme flooding hit parts of Kempner, Texas, as the Lampasas River surged to a crest of 32 feet following overnight storms.

KXAN Austin:

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Downpours capable of producing flash flooding continue to bring multiple inches of rain with Flash Flood Warnings across much of the northern Hill Country.

This comes less than 10 days after a deadly flash flood event moved through other parts of Central Texas.
