Said it before here a few times, but the conservative version of learning from one’s mistakes is to double down.
Occasionally someone will post a Joe Bastardi weather comment (tweet) on the YCC “Eye on the Storm” blog.
My immediate reaction is to post a reply along the lines of “so, when’s that global cooling coming?” I think some of the newbs might not know who Joe Bastardi is, so I sorta poison the well (or point out the poison in his well) whenever I encounter a supporter.

Why his Imminent Cooling would be worse than Global Warming:
“We grow food when it’s warm, and it’s easier to take clothes off and cool things down when it’s warm that it does to heat things up; it takes more energy.”
What the bleep was Bastardi responding to? That clip starts in the middle of the discussion, Bastardi is ranting about some people or other.
Agreed that it is unhinged.
Does anybody still pay this idiot for his weather forecasting? He has been consistently wrong for over a decade. Who do you trust more – several thousands of climate researchers, UN, every world govt., or Joe Bastardi and Chritopher Monchkton who get paid money to tell climate deniers what they want to hear?
