    1. If you’re talking about the exaggerated parts like an area being 150 degrees or something, perhaps consider that that’s not the REAL Carl Sagan, it’s a comedy skit, and the main point of the sketch was that humans weren’t doing anything about global warming. I’d say it’s aged well considering as a species we’d still rather be entertained and distracted than listen to scientists.

      The sketch re-ran nationally on this past Saturday’s Paul Rudd SNL episode. It originally aired in 1990, a now mythical golden era when Republicans hadn’t yet been brainwashed by corporate interests:
