Made my day—-I’d missed the program, so thanks for posting this. IMO, perhaps the best SNL bash of Trump ever. Chock full of smart, well-played stuff. Either they’ve hired some better writers or things are getting so crazy that it’s just getting too easy to come up with ideas.
The “desks” bit at the end is the topper. Toles in the WashPost did a “suitable for framing” editorial cartoon showing a mini-Trump sitting at the president’s desk in Bannon’s lap signing executive orders. Bannon saying “That’s a good boy” and mini-trump replying “I’m a good boy” as he signed.
OOOOPS. The WashPost is my daily paper and Toles’ terrific daily editorial cartoons are the first thing I turn to after scanning the front page, but I mispoke—-Toles didn’t draw it, Pia Guerra did. I saw it somewhere else. Sorry. (but DO google “Tom Toles cartoonist” and look at his assembled collection of cartoons if you’re not familiar with his work—-he is A#1 on nailing Trump)
