SETTING RECORD DAILY TEMPERATURES ACROSS NORTHERN ALASKA THE PAST
SEVERAL DAYS. SOME LONG TERM STATIONS HAVE BROKEN ALL-TIME
JANUARY HIGH TEMPERATURES…INCLUDING DENALI NATIONAL PARK
HEADQUARTERS AND NOME. JANUARY RECORDS WERE LIKELY SET AT SOME
OTHER LOCATIONS BUT THEY EITHER LACK A LONG PERIOD OF RECORD OR
OBSERVED TEMPERATURES.
ON SUNDAY THE 26TH THE TEMPERATURE CLIMBED TO A SCORCHING 52
DEGREES AT DENALI NATIONAL PARK HEADQUARTERS. THIS IS THE WARMEST
TEMPERATURE EVER RECORDED AT THE PARK HEADQUARTERS IN JANUARY
DURING THE PAST 92 YEARS OF OBSERVATIONS. THE PREVIOUS RECORD FOR
THE MONTH WAS 51 DEGREES SET ON JANUARY 21ST 1961. FOR
REFERENCE…52 DEGREES IS THE NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURE IN MID MAY
AT THE PARK HEADQUARTERS. THE NORMAL HIGH FOR JANUARY 26TH IS 11
DEGREES ABOVE ZERO.
AT NOME…THE TEMPERATURE HAS SOARED TO 48 DEGREES THIS MORNING.
THIS IS WARMEST TEMPERATURE EVER OBSERVED IN JANUARY AT NOME SINCE

Parts of the Arctic are currently warmer than at any time going as far back as 44.000 years…
Ancient Polytrichum mosses that have been trapped under the ice for thousands of years on Baffin Island in northern Canada are becoming exposed due to the warming temperatures that is melting the ice.
Since the moss samples would have been destroyed by erosion had they been previously exposed, the authors of a new study suggest that the temperatures in the Arctic now must be warmer than during any sustained period since the mosses were originally buried.
Scientists from the University of Colorado then radiocarbon dated these ancient moss and found that most of the samples date from the past 5,000 years, when a period of strong cooling took place in the Arctic. However, the team also found much older samples that ranged in age from 24,000 to 44,000 years old.
Based on this information, the records suggest that in general, the eastern Canadian Arctic is warmer now than in any century in the past 5000 years, and in some places, modern temperatures are unprecedented in at least the past 44,000 years. The observations, the authors suggest, show that modern Arctic warming far exceeds the bounds of historical natural variability. (from the Geophysical Research Letters)

“Our findings add additional evidence to the growing consensus that anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases have now resulted in unprecedented recent summer warmth that is well outside the range of that attributable to natural climate variability,” said Gifford Miller of the University of Colorado.
Miller also states that this is the first direct evidence that present summer warmth in the Eastern Canadian Arctic now exceeds the peak warmth there in the Early Holocene era.
And I guess you can now add ‘unprecedented winter warmth” as well.
Currently 40 F in Anchorage AK and 26 F in Mesquite TX (where I reside).
Currently in the mid teens in northern VA—-was around 10 F at dawn. Lots of wind too.
Notice the six “zoned” departure from average temperature numbers in the first graphic. They are all positive. Can the whole planet actually be warmer when we are freezing our butts off in TX and VA?

Looks like they knew how to have a good time in spite of the cold.
My tomato plant still has a few tomato on it here in Los Angeles (though the mold is starting to take its toll – it’s an old plant from early 2013). Now if only there were water to keep watering it.
None of this is mentioned in the bible. All this “temperature measurement” stuff and “radiocarbon dating” is hooey. The earth was only created 6000 yrs ago so this can’t be true. Science is false, gravity is a lie.

“If gravity is a lie, how come things don’t fall up?” Simple. As per skeptic logic, there is no such thing as gravity, the earth is expanding. When we jump in the air, we don’t fall down … the earth expands up to meet us. In fact everything is expanding and unequal expansion of the ocean produces the tides. I’ll stop now before my expanding head explodes.
The land rises and falls to the moons gravity causing the tides, the water stays inert : see Ken Ring (its a Kiwi thing)
Coincidentally I saw a YouTube video on that “theory” just a couple days ago,staring Carl Reiner as Einstein…not kidding.

Who says that things don’t fall up? I propose (improving on Einstein’s work ) that gravity waves act like water waves,and at regular cycles combine and cause a negative gravity which happens every 65 million years,and the last time they threw the dinosaurs off the earth (correcting that silly giant asteroid theory!).

You see per Einstein or Al as I like to call him, gravity travels in waves,and usually those waves allow our mass to remain bound to earth’s mass.
So far so good.
But every 65 million years + or – 45 minutes, those waves come together and cancel each other out, creating a repulsive force equal to the mass of the objects on earth,so all the biggest dinosaurs were flung into space and now are orbiting in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.The lesser dinos fell back to earth and were embedded in the rock strata,and that’s where dino fossils come from. The flying dinos were able to avoid the reverse gravity by flapping their wings to counter the force,so they were Ok,and subsequently evolved into avian dinos (birds).

I wonder if this could be connected to the fact CO2 levels are much higher now then in any time during the Holocene ? I wonder if the USAF were right in 1950s that CO2 absorbs radiation ? well contrarians (a politer word for deniers) Judith Curry, Wattsupwiththat and the hocheyschtick are all saying it is absolutely nothing to do with global warming and are suffering collective apoplexy. So it is most likely true then and Jennifer Francis was right all along, and we ain’t seen nothing yet.
