Green energy is a necessary invesmtent but we (citizens, gov’t) should be careful how we “free up” the market. There are certainly overly strict regulations on the energy markets, but one benefit of the regulation is that energy is available for rural communities as well and prices are relatively predictable. I’m not sure how easy it is to separate the grid from the producers and deliver pricing in an equitable way. Anyone have any insights into this?
