Conservative Talk Radio has a new Go-to-guy on Sandy and Climate – Scott Mandia

America’s Radio News Network reaches a lot of relatively conservative listeners on a nationwide broadcast originating in Washington.

Scott Mandia, one of the founders of the Climate Science Rapid Response team,  took the opportunity to plug in some vital climate change information.

  1. Excellent interview. Mandia is an impressive speaker.
Glad to see the computer models getting some credit at last!

“President Obama and Mitt Romney have hardly mentioned climate change. While that’s a good start, I think they need to take it a step further. [more at LeeCamp.net]” http://leecamp.net/

  3. At this point, I think there’s going to be a positive shift. I’ve stated several times that I don’t really like or trust people who jump on the AGW bandwagon because bad weather has hit them unexpectedly.

But while I deplore Obama’s relative reticence on AGW, Hurricane Sandy and his response to the devastation has earned him praise from Christie and the firm endorsement of Bloomberg.

Couple with Bloomberg’s “It’s global warming, STUPID” cover, I expect a denialist double-down but I also believe that Obama will start really talking about it, as we hoped he would back in 2008.
