Besides climate change (and related energy and water issues), we have agricultural practices (soil degradation, monocultures, fertilizer runoff, draining aquifers), overfishing, deforestation and species loss, and a ‘democracy’ controlled by plutocrats (ensuring business as usual).
The above video reminds me of “The Age of Stupid”. The movie portrays the worst of worst case scenarios, but it’s dead right about our current culture – we can’t seem to rise above our own selfish desires.
