Ice Road Iconoclast Comes Forward: “Find your spot. Occupy it. Even if it is only your own mind.”

Our “Take Back the Tundra” mystery person has come forward.

This photo has intrigued and mystified a number of readers since I posted it the other day.  In a comment on that posting, the mystery frost angel, who identifies herself as Diane McEachern,  states simply –

“I’m the woman in this photo. Here is my comment that went with the post: I’m wearing a muskox neck warmer (that is not a beard on my face). The dogs are rescues. The tundra is outside of Bethel, Alaska. The day is chill. The sentiment is solid. Find your spot. Occupy it. Even if it is only your own mind. Keep this going…”

  1. I’ve got to ask, what does “99%r” mean?

I continue to admire the composition of this photo. The dogs looking intently at the camera add so much to the composition. The little dog on the left would have done much for the composition by moving just one foot closer to the group. I can’t blame the little dog for its weak sense of photographic taste; s/he’s obviously young.

    1. She may be hinting at that she is a 99%r, or among one of the 99%.

This is a great idea. We should all stand up and occupy our climate, tundra or whatever. We should expect our leaders and our fellow men/women to pull together and come up with a plan that keeps our livelihood and climate as healthy as possible.
