Electric Bills Will Explode as Trump Policies Kick in

Above, Matt “Mr Global” Randolph on the rapid rise in electricity bills.
That’s even before the coming explosion in Natural Gas prices.
Buckle up.

Energy Information Administration:

North America’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) export capacity is on track to more than double between 2024 and 2028, from 11.4 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) in 2023 to 24.4 Bcf/d in 2028, if projects currently under construction begin operations as planned.

Below, Senator Brian Schatz of Hawaii.

  1. It’s 100% certain that Repemmican meatheads will blame any and all price increases on renewables. Politicians will blare it out every chance they get; Texass governor Abbott will chime in, internet trolls and bots will parrot the lies relentlessly.

We need to be informed, vigilant and ready with pre-written debunkings of all the common lies; excellent, clear, informative graphics; elevator talks; instant comebacks with follow-ups.

    1. I spent many years on the talk·origins newsgroup which was a forum dedicated to the countering of creationist claims (explicitly formed to siphon creationists out of sci·bio). We kept getting the same recycled arguments, so Mark Isaak put together an Index to Creationist Claims and the assorted scientific refutations for them.

  2. Two instances on the chart where electricity prices between 2024 and 2025 went down were Hawaii (still high, but going down) and California. Can we guess why?
