PBS on Heat as a Health Hazard

We’ve been pretty lucky here in Michigan, it’s been warm the last week, about t 6 to 10 degrees F above average, I think – but we’ve not had the same heat wave as other parts of the country.

PBS Newshour – you’ll miss it if it goes away – has a new piece on the health hazards of heat and humidity, above.

There was a similar piece in the very valuable PBS Terra Series a few months ago.

Meteorologists like Phoenix’s Amber Sullins, Chief Meteorologist at ABC 15 in Phoenix have been telling me for years about the “silent killer” of increasing heat.
