Tesla Sales Heading for Disaster

Musk has taken that chain saw to what was once one of the world’s most enviable brands.
Is there no Board of Directors at Tesla? Who is letting this continue?

Markets Insider:

GLJ Research reports deliveries of Tesla (TSLA) vehicles in five countries in Europe are down about 56% through the first 51 days of Q1, while China is down 7.0% year-over-year through the first seven weeks of Q1 and Australia has seen a 33% year-over-year fall in Model Y sales in January. Taking all of that into account, “things are shaping up disastrously” for Tesla’s Q1 car sales, argues the long-time bear, who estimates the delivery number for Q1, so far, looks like it will come in around 360,000-370,000 units versus the current Wall Street estimate of 426,.977. GLJ Research maintains a Sell rating on Tesla shares.

Today, Musk called the leader of Germany’s Neo nazi party to congratulate them on a good election showing. (they came in second overall and will be part of a ruling coalition)

New York Times:

The hard-right Alternative for Germany might not have done as well in Sunday’s election as its leaders had hoped, but its groundbreaking performance was enough for a congratulatory phone call from Elon Musk.

Alice Weidel, the chancellor candidate for the party, known by its German initials, AfD, told journalists on Monday morning that she had slept through a call from Mr. Musk, the world’s richest man and a top adviser to President Trump. When she looked at her phone on the morning after her party won 20.8 percent of the vote, she said, she had a missed call from the United States, which turned out to be from Mr. Musk, who, she said, “congratulated me personally.”

Several hours later, Mr. Musk did it again publicly, when he reposted on X a congratulatory note from Hungarian authoritarian leader Victor Orban with an added note that read: “Indeed, congratulations @Alice_Weidel! At this rate of growth, @AfD will be the majority party by the next election.”

The AfD came in second place in Germany’s national election with more than 20 percent of the vote, nearly double its share in 2021 and a record for any far-right party since the end of World War II. But Friedrich Merz, leader of the first-place Christian Democrats and the presumptive future chancellor, has ruled out forming a coalition with the AfD, so Ms. Weidel and her party will continue to be sidelined.

  1. Starting to look like Musk not only sabotaging his brand but the EV transition as well. One of Putin’s Pussies we don’t need a tin-foil hat to see the Russian Oil-igarch connection; I’m guessing because China’s state car company now directly competes with Tesla and he’s not the rock star he was ten years ago. I dare call it sabotage ~ conspiracy ~ because it’s obvious that’s what it is. Big Oil has already pulled out all the stops, from the big lies to vandalizing chargers, and Putin is as Big Oil as any of the rest …
