Had a student my age back then, retired guy, old school engineer, taking computer classes because old school engineer, of course he’s taking computer classes. When assigned an Excel project to ‘gather a bunch of data and render it into a variety of graphic representations aced the assignment: on sunspots. Recorded sunspots all the way back to Copernicus corelated with variations in temp data from the ice cores. I had to give him an “A”, I was trapped into it ~ context is he did the assignment and them some, doesn’t matter what the content is
He’s probably gone now but still, I wonder if I encouraged ill-education …
