A lot of those upright trees look like they might still have viable root systems, but the downed trees make plenty of future fodder for wildfires, of course.
Looks like St Helens. What I learned from witnessing and working on St Helens for two years afterward, and a multitude of ‘forest’ fires since is it all grows back. Grows back so fast that without some kind of management it becomes a bigger problem than before

The thing about deforestation is that there will be new trees eventually but it’s our grandchildren & their grandchildren who will enjoy them. That is, if developers don’t pave over the entire area & build ugliness.
