I’m less worried about dementia (hell, we survived Ronald Reagan’s Alzheimers) than about language and attitudes that so closely mirror the rise of the Nazis in 1930s Germany.
Many of his acolytes resemble the most notorious Nazis (Stephen Miller is Goebbels reincarnated), and his VP pick, while not bearing false witness against legal Haitian immigrants, scarily resembles the Catholic Church bishops of the same era.
I voted today (first day of early voting) in Austin.
I don’t see much hope that Harris will win Texas, but I there’s a shot for Colin Allred to displace Ted Cruz in the US Senate.
