RFK Angles for Secretary of Horse Paste

Delusional hardly begins to cover it.

Repeating Putinist talking points verbatim. Unfreakingbelievable.

RFK Jr suspends campaign, reportedly endorsing Trump, possibly angling for a role in the Trump Administration on Public Health. Holding out for Trump to completely renounce modern biological science.
Says he will pull his name off the ballot in swing states where it would likely help Trump. Seriously willing to tip America into Fascism in service of some of the craziest crackpot theories imaginable.

Bear burgers for everyone?

Right, this should certainly help beat down those “Weird” memes.

Columnist Dave Troy on X:

1. RFK Jr, Cornel West, Jill Stein, Marianne Williamson are all backed by Russia, and their allies.

2. RFK Jr announced today he is backing Donald Trump; Williamson dropped out on June 11.

3. Expect increased Russian support for West and Stein in swing states, to serve as spoilers.

4. Expect RFK to appear more frequently with Trump in an effort to add 1-2 points.

5. Expect Trump to offer Kennedy a cabinet position — perhaps FDA or DHHS.

6. Expect them to try to eliminate the CIA, long a target for the KGB; perhaps under Mike Flynn’s direction.

7. Other moves: Gabbard as SecDef; Musk and Ramaswamy as “slashers in chief,” running the Schedule F guillotine.

These networks have been converging for years. Expect it all to unify in the next few weeks and months. Unless you want to live under the thumb of Putin and Xi, these people must all be defeated. Onward!

Slate:

It’s been quite a ride for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the presidential race—filled with memories, shirtlessness, a staunch refusal to under any circumstances listen to a qualified medical professional, and a truly abnormal number of stories about dead animals.

Alas, like the lives of the brain wormsallegedly barbecued dogs, and bears found deceased on a roadside who have had the misfortune of crossing paths with him, it appears Kennedy’s campaign will be meeting a less-than-timely end on Friday in Phoenix. Per CNN, RFK Jr. will be withdrawing from the race that he’s been running as an independent since his unsuccessful Democratic primary challenge to Joe Biden. Kennedy has been said to be ā€œin talksā€ with Donald Trump—who just announced that his own Friday rally in the same city will feature a ā€œspecial guestā€ā€”about endorsing the Republican nominee’s campaign.

RFK Jr., according to earlier reports, had previously made overtures to both Trump and Harris to gauge their interest in receiving his endorsement in exchange for the promise of a role in their potential administrations. (Harris was not interested.) ABC also reported that Kennedy was attempting to arrange a Trump endorsement.

  1. RFK Jr was never a ‘serious environmental lawyer’ – his scuppering of Storm King pumped hydro and Indian Point nuclear just stopped New Yorkers getting clean, cheap power. If his wife divorces him for backing Trump, she’ll just be following the rest of his family.

  2. Unfortunately, it looks like he was going to draw more votes from Trump than from Harris. It’ll make the swing states tighter. He apparently approached the Democrats first for a deal, but what were they realistically going to do? Kennedy’s main platform was vaccine skepticism backed by conspiracy theories. It’s not like the Democrats could accept that.

So, Kennedy will drop virtually all of his other lifelong interests like the environment for a chance at a small bit of political power. It’s only a chance because even if Trump wins, he’ll be getting a lot of pressure from his other advisers not to give Kennedy a cabinet position.

The apple fell far from the tree.

    1. No, the apple don’t fall far from the tree, that’s impossible. But it’s evident that this one was eaten by worms. You always have to be careful, picking apples up from under the tree. You toss these ones away or into the compost pile. I grew up in New York State apple country.
