Reproductive Rights, democracy, and Project 2025 need to be at the heart of messaging for the next 4 months.
If you ever thought, “maybe I should get involved and do something about climate, about democracy”…Now would be a very good time.
It doesn’t matter so much exactly what you do, there are paths for everyone.
Postcard writing, phone banking, Letters to Editors, Op Eds for those with a flare for prose. Talking to friends, family and colleagues, donating to climate and democracy friendly candidates.
Time’s up, this is it.

All is definitely not bleak.
I was heartened over the weekend when Democratic Strategist Rachel Bitecofer retweeted the comments of a Texas Dem House candidate, Michelle Beckley, over the weekend. Beckley had just come back from a day of door knocking in a deeply Republican neighborhood (in Texas!):
The proof is in how hard Republicans are running away from their own plan – because it is so obviously repulsive to voters across the spectrum.
Anyone wanting to help Michelle Beckley, check here. Might as well turn Texas blue while we’re at it.
Good examples for us in the UK and French elections over the weekend. Just a few days before the press on both sides of the Atlantic were declaring a new era of Right Wing control and Putinist influence. In just a handful of hours, French voters re-aligned themselves and sent a resounding “No” to Fascists, while Brits affirmed a new pro-climate Government.

I can’t believe the Republicans plan to drill babies. It’s horrific and cruel.
