I like that she flat out states that, hey, we’ve been predicting this all along.
At least the interviewer knew it was kinda dumb to ask a climate scientist what we should do, since any action we can do has been constipated by politics and corporate lobbying, and that the changes to infrastructure, budgeting, policy, etc., in the real world are managed by civil engineers and savvy politicians. (The Michigan wind/solar zoning law is an excellent example of this, but sadly too rare.)
As for talking, the fossil fuel companies are happy if all we do is talk.
