CyberTruck: Does it Live Up to Hype?

If you are counting on a bulletproof getaway car for the zombie apocalypse, just remember, the door panels are bulletproof, but the windows are not. Yet.
I’m waiting for the version with rocket launchers.

  1. This reminds me of the demo/promo for the solar tiles: They did a head-to-head comparison of dropping hard things (modeling hailstones) on the solar tiles, standard terra-cotta and two other brittle roof tiles, and highlighted that the solar tiles weren’t cracked. They conveniently left out two very common hail-resistant types of roof: metal roofs and asphalt shingles

Doing a drag race is a gimmick that shows off the best advantage of the Cybertruck (getting to its top speed quickly).

ICE vehicles have a similar behavior from a full tank down to almost fumes, so how does a Cybertruck handle a longer test, with or without towing? It does have the advantage of recharging on the downhill, but how much power can you draw when the battery isn’t topped up?
