One thought on “As Peak Storm Season Approaches, Floridians See Insurance Claims from Last Year’s Hurricane Ian Denied”
When I saw all of the coverage of flooding from Ian in Florida’s interior (Orlando et al), it was obvious to those of us with hurricane aftermath experience that a lot of people would mistakenly (or hopefully?) file claims for flood damage that isn’t generally covered by private insurance.
If your roof is intact, prepare for an uphill fight to get any coverage money for the several tens of thousands of dollars damage water can do in your home.
