One way to think about it: When Earth was about 3 C cooler than the pre-industrial temperature (i.e. about 14,000 yrs ago), Florida was twice as large as it is now. We are likely to hit 2 C warmer than the pre-industrial temperature, and may hit 3 C warmer. What do people think that is going to do to the size of Florida? It shouldn’t be ‘rocket science’ to figure this out.

People still think in terms of water above ground, but higher water tables and salt water intrusion bring their own problems before you’re visually aware of them.
One small potential upside: With the higher water table, the karst may be less vulnerable to sink holes in certain areas.
