This is just f**king unbelievable. 5-10C at the North Pole (look at the green shading). Next week it will be warmer at the North Pole than in parts of the US.

Okay so having it THAT warm at the North Pole is a shocker. But this has been going on for more than a decade. I live in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada which is further south than Minnesota, and yet it, is often colder here than Nome, Alaska. According to the official government weather offices, Kitchener is currently sitting at 16F while Nome is at 27F.
