So many times the coverage of disasters and longer-term problems those events produce doesn’t even mention climate change when it’s staring them in the face. (In some cases, I expect the original reporting did have a reference to climate change, but it was edited out of the final report, whether out of sloppiness, production constraints, or deliberately.)
