It’s all one big science denial piece.
The Venn diagram of anti-vaxxers and climate deniers would, I suspect have large overlap, so worth examining.
I rarely argue with climate deniers any more, as I figure at this point they’ll get it soon enough. But experience with Covid – examples in the video – suggest that there would be climate deniers sheltering in the last bit of blasted rubble of a ruined civilization, if we let it go that far

That woman said her son had fever every day for weeks. Whether it’s COVID or a brain amoeba how can you not take him for diagnosis and treatment? Anderson Cooper just got his son a little over a year ago, and there was such a sense of incomprehension when he brought up the woman with the sick child.
The next time I interact with any climate denier, like, say, a former AG of Utah, I’ll check for an anti-vax position as well. It probably overlaps with Creationism or Intelligent Design, too.
Should be worth it. I’m sure in many places one or both of these positions of denial are not majority positions but are taken on by politicians because they’re popular with the base. The more we can link them together in the mind of the public the better. Even in most red states pro-climate action is a more popular position than denial. I don’t know about Covid/vaccine denial, but no doubt there are other positions right wing politicians have admitted to because it’s popular with the base, but which would cost them overall. Belief in angels and aliens, for instance. Or maybe those are good for them.
