New Audi ad introducing Audi e-tron GT as “Santa’s” new ride.
Some context:
The story provides a glimpse at the future of mobility at Audi. A future that has started to happen. Translating progress into progressive design. Combining clear lines with a clear attitude. Dovetailing sophisticated technology with minimalism and intuitive operation. Characterized by connectivity while creating new forms of freedom. Electric mobility plays a key role in this. Among its ambassadors is the Audi e-tron GT concept.

Everyone knows Santa is loaded. He can afford a $75K ride.
Costs must get reasonable.. ..
“Despite significant breakthroughs, sales of electric vehicles were largely stagnant, and the cost of the cars puts them still out of reach for most Americans.”

In the US it’s stuck at about 2%. What’s the difference? Well, in those other countries they apparently care whether the biosphere collapses during our lifetimes. Oh, and they have government policies meant to move them toward EVs, as well as immensely better and more clean and efficient public mass transit than the US.
The used EV market will also grow over time.
