Remember too that range is misleading—-300 miles is really only 150, because you have to get back to your starting point if there isn’t a charging station within 300 miles of your first “fillup”

Why have the autodrive passing vehicle scenario take place with a rather threatening blind-curve ahead? I don’t think this beast has radar to detect oncoming cars. All I could think was “I’m not putting my life at danger of a high-speed head-on collision by putting this thing on autopilot to pass with an oncoming blind curve.”

It’s much more expensive with less range, not made of stainless steel, and has a much shorter pickup box, for starters. Payload, towing capacity has not yet been revealed.
But…. it comes with GM’s Ultium battery system. And there is no denying that “Ultium” sounds a LOT like the word “ultimate”.
OTOH, it is more luxurious and looks like a traditional off-road machine. It’s probably a good vehicle. When it finally arrives, we’ll know.

By which I think it means computer-simulated roads and simulated vehicles.
