    Stevens’ comments on “a sense of agreed upon truth” are particularly pertinent. The implications of Trump’s “assault on truth” are chilling in the extreme.

  2. The second video is exactly why I’ve kept arguing against people’s tendency for incrementalist responses: it always puts you behind the exponential curve, not just on action but on awareness. Market-friendly or conservative-friendly “solutions” to climate, voting rather than revolution, all leave people responding to the problem we used to have rather than the one we have now. or even better, the one we’ll have soon.


  3. People rarely get credit for responsible prevention and maintenance.

    There’s plenty of blame to go around when something long-predicted happens.
