Always loved the Seekers. They had such wonderful harmonies and Judith Durham had a voice of an angel. Thanks for the memories and the calming moment. In these times, we need such great musical breaks.

other day.
Probably the last time I heard it was on a scratchy transistor or AM car radio
– so the sound in this recording knocks me out.
Have not been able to get it out of my head,
which seems reason enough to post..
I had a sister who wore out my collection of Stones, Faithfull, Moody Blues, Kinks, Shadows, Duane Eddy, Jonny and the Hurricanes, Buddy Holly, The Byrds, The Who, Them, Cash and so many more. Two daughters put daylight through Johnny Cash and ‘Ride This Train. in that latter I liked the intro with Indian tribes reeled off. I can still remember the lyrics to many of his songs. Picked up some rare (in UK) Cash Sun LPs whilst visiting New York courtesy of ‘The Grey Funnel Line’.
The 60’s have not quite ended here though, a golden age.

I loved the tracks on The Seekers vinyl LP I had in the late sixties.

Beautiful, crisp and harmonious from the group that started my album collection – why did the 60’s ever end ?
