  1. In his latest message, the Pope is pushing HOPE. Swell!

Considering God is on his side, one would have hoped that he would use stronger language—-like “This is the ACTION that government and corporate leaders need to take RIGHT NOW if they don’t want to be eternally damned—-SHAPE UP or BURN IN HELL, people!”

        1. Hmmmm…….i wonder how long we will be “considering” this, and if and when we DO make it a sin whether the sinners will be motivated to stop sinning. Wake me up when something happens (and it IS hard to sleep with the noise of all the cans being kicked down the road all over the world)..

      1. He has indeed—-three years ago and 4 months ago. But this is all he said this Christmas:

VATICAN CITY — Pope Francis offered a Christmas message of hope Wednesday against darkness that cloaks conflicts and relationships in large parts of the world from the Middle East to the Americas to Africa.

The pope told tens of thousands of tourists, pilgrims and Romans gathered in St. Peter’s Square for the annual Christmas Day message that “the light of Christ is greater’’ than the darkness “in human hearts” and ‘’in economic, geopolitical and ecological conflicts.’’

        1. What do you expect him to say to Catholics for a Christmas message?

The guy isn’t failing on warning society about economic greed and climate change, and he already gets regularly mocked by denier pundits and on places like WUWT. I’m not sure what else he can say or do about it.
