Swindler/Con Man Jim Bakker on Climate and “End Times”

“I’ve studied global warming”. huh.

Full disclosure – a relative of mine was taken in and swindled by Jim Bakker’s real estate scams back in the 80s. He went to jail for that one, finally. Now he’s back.

“Global warming is the world’s excuse that God wasn’t in the storm..”
Stay tuned for a lot more of this talk as Global Weirding gets weirder.

  1. Well, yes. It’s called karma.
    What goes around comes around.
He who lives by the sword will die by the sword.
“Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling.”
There is a strong tradition of applying cause and effect to moral action.

It takes a special kind of disingenuity to turn the judgment that we risk by living too close to a volcano or a flood plain or the climate crisis that follows on producing a CO² spike into a temptation to think about cause and effect when clearly only supernatural intervention could explain.

  2. Nutcase. But he is right to point out that the global warming brigade are very dangerous. The use the word denier for anybody who does not believe, they are now calling for arrests. Next it will be death camps, just like the Nazis.

    1. “they are now calling for arrests.” Bakker said so, and so do you. Neither has provided a link or some evidence of such a remarkable claim. Do you have some evidence of this? Cuz the old saying is ‘Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence’

  3. It’s a sad commentary on the collective intelligence of Americans that anyone is paying attention to this con man. What’s next from him?—a plea to send him money so that he can right global warming?
