We don’t need any of that fancy gear because now we have Paul Beckwith to assure us his audience that “global sea level will rise 7 meters by 2070, as I originally discussed over 5 years ago in a video” so we have the answer, and we already had Guy McPherson to inform with certainty that Global Mean Surface Temperature (GMST) will rise by 8.5 degrees over <8 years after the Arctic Ocean open water increases from 94.1% to 94.3% for a day in September (which is what causes the rise of 170% of the recent de-glaciation warming, except in 8 years instead of 12,000 years). So all that expense in the video is just a waste of our money, a boondoggle if you will. Nice video though.
I’m sure you know what you are rambling on about even if no-one else does.
I agree with what I believe might be your central preimise – that although we know for sure that sea levels will continue to rise and flood almost all our current major coastal cities no-one knows exactly how rapidly this is going to happen.
That much is true.
However, I for one don’t find any comfort in that fact.
