  1. Good one, UK!

Does he get any “respect” anywhere on the planet? Even his “buddies” in Russia and North Korea are laughing at him behind his back.

  2. Watch out, Trump is about.
U.K beware of the orange hair

New Report Suggests ‘High Likelihood of Human Civilization Coming to an End’ in 2050

“A harrowing scenario analysis of how human civilization might collapse in coming decades due to climate change has been endorsed by a former Australian defense chief and senior royal navy commander.

On our current trajectory, the report warns, “planetary and human systems [are] reaching a ‘point of no return’ by mid-century, in which the prospect of a largely uninhabitable Earth leads to the breakdown of nations and the international order.”

The only way to avoid the risks of this scenario is what the report describes as “akin in scale to the World War II emergency mobilization”—but this time focused on rapidly building out a zero-emissions industrial system to set in train the restoration of a safe climate.”

    1. Speaking of orange hair, Trump did something different with his “do” recently.

      https://www.aol.com/article/lifestyle/2019/06/03/trump-briefly-swapped-his-trademark-hairdo-for-a-slicked-back-style-that-makes-him-look-totally-different/23740772/#slide=7589061#fullscreen

Hate to say it, but this “Bill Maher” hair-do makes him look more like a real human being rather than a narcissistic anal orifice. The back is a bit too long though—if he trimmed that, he’s almost be “attractive” (did I really say that?)

      1. Appropriate that is on ‘aol’.

I suspect an old ‘gunny’ will get that straight away, others may have to think.

Sorry, my Fleet Air Arm sense of humour.

        1. LOL—–Yes, Trump is “absent” in every meaning of the word.

I’ve recently seen AOL used as Army Of Lunatics, and that’s appropriate as well

  3. The Scotsman –

“Meanwhile, in the real world, there are impacts from climate change all around the planet, from typhoons to floods to droughts to record heatwaves. In Trump’s US there are record high spring temperatures in Alaska, with temperatures in March averaging 11C above normal. People have died as snowmobiles and trucks have fallen through ice on rivers that would have supported them in previous years. There are already at least three villages that need to be relocated soon, before they succumb to erosion. And rising sea temperatures mean that the fish many communities traditionally rely upon are present only in ever decreasing numbers.”

  4. Doesn’t earn much respect anywhere, does he ?

The Pentagon is defying Donald Trump to protect its bases from climate change.

In some places, these impacts are little more than expensive nuisances. But in others, the future of entire bases is in question. And many of these bases are virtually irreplaceable because of their geography and strategic location,”

  5. “The President, the First Lady, family members and officials arrived on two Boeing 747 jets, which together will emit 979 tonnes of extra carbon dioxide to the atmosphere on their journeys between London and Washington DC.

The transport while the President is in the UK will also have a significant impact – two identical seven-seat armoured limousines dubbed The Beasts have a fuel economy of just four miles per gallon, meaning they will emit 1.2 tonnes of carbon dioxide while they are here.”

  6. Giant ‘Trump Baby’ blimp glides over London in protest

A new version of the “Trump Baby” blimp was unleashed in London on Tuesday as part of protests against the state visit of US President Donald Trump to the UK.

Activists had managed to inflate the giant blimp by 9 am on Parliament Square, an hour before the official start of a protest organised by the “Together Against Trump” group in Trafalgar Square, reports Efe news.
