Macron to US Congress: No Planet B

I’m trying to understand the applause. Where are all these people when there’s a vote on, say, new NASA Chief?

  1. “I’m trying to understand the applause. Where are all these people when there’s a vote on, say, new NASA Chief?”

My thoughts exactly. These people are right back where they always were when there’s a vote—Dems trying to do the right thing, Repugnants taking care of the greedy rich and the corporations and destroying the country.

What I really want to know is what Trump thought of his new BFF’s speech (if he was even watching—he may have been watching Fox News instead or talking on the phone to Hannity while munching a C-burger).

So much for brushing dandruff off shoulders or dragging little Manny around by the hand to show who’s Big Daddy—-Viva la stick-it-to-the-Moron in the WH! (now pronounced “More-own” in memory of this day)

  2. And another not so dumb old guy . . .

Wealthy people will be better able to adapt but the world’s population will head to regions of the planet such as northern Europe which will be temporarily spared the extreme effects of climate change. How are these regions going to respond? We see it now. Migrants will be prevented from arriving. We will let them drown.”

    1. Many Low-Lying Atoll Islands Will Be Uninhabitable by Mid-21st Century
      Release Date: APRIL 25, 2018
Sea-level rise and wave-driven flooding will negatively impact freshwater resources on many low-lying atoll islands in such a way that many could be uninhabitable in just a few decades.

According to a new study published in Science Advances, scientists found that such flooding not only will impact terrestrial infrastructure and habitats, but, more importantly, it will also make the limited freshwater resources non-potable and, therefore, directly threaten the sustainability of human populations.
