Venus’s average temperature (864 F) is about 14 times Earth’s (59 F) at present, so we have a long way to go, What we don’t know is whether there’s a tipping point in there that puts us on an irreversible feedback path towards 1/13.8 or 1/13.7 “Venuses”, which would likely end the debate because we’ll be gone.
