My Dad, the Man

Had he lived, my Father would be 101 today.

He was chair of the local Republican Party in the Eisenhower era, when “Goldwater Republican” was not a dirty joke. I’m sure he’d not be allowed to speak to a GOP group today, nor would he be interested.

  1. And I’m sure he would have been proud of you, had he lived on. My father would have been 100 exactly during January, he was always very reserved and both he and my mother were staunch conservatives. It is good to see in decent politics, science is respected by both sides. That is how it should be, just whether you want to steer left, right or down the middle, where many of us are after all most comfortable.
