It’s been said by somebody that the greatest risk to the Republican Party and the “Conservative” movement would be if Donald Trump actually won this election.
I was, of course, hoping we would not be running that experiment, but here we are.
We’d best be thinking along the lines of “never let a good crisis go to waste”.
Nothing’s going to stop the rush of technological change that is moving us toward a renewable society, but some things could slow it down.
Consider reaching out to acquaintances across the political spectrum who may be just as horrified as you are.

A simpler adjustment to the electoral college would be sufficient. Simply give the winner of the popular vote a bonus of 75 electoral votes 🙂 .
A nice idea… one that I would hope someone could seriously look into here in the USA. I wonder if this could be done while still adhering to the Constitution?
