At some point, common sense and reality will force Republican candidates (and even Monckton, Watts, et.al.) to reverse and repudiate their years of stupidity and willful ignorance. I can imagine that happening by 2020 (probably not) but until it happens, the disconnect between reality and Republican denialism should work to the advantage of their opponents.
A lot can happen between now and November and the self-destruction of the second Republican clown bus in a row seems less certain than it did just a while ago. This could be the last presidential where AGW has the ability to play a significant role.

The power of ideology in certain human brains is more powerful than reality. I predict the meme will become, the climates changed, no one is to blame, except maybe environmentalists, now private enterprise can provide us with climate control mechanisms that everybody is forced to contribute financially to. Just need to feed the right message to the unthinking masses. Repetition, repetition, repetition!
What I can’t get my head around is how ANYONE can listen to what comes out of Cruz’s mouth, and NOT see the lying snake he really is. He knows the truth, I can clearly see that, I can see he’s playing a game he thinks is fun. Why on God’s Green Earth can’t his supporters see it?
Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada. There is an issue of what the definition is of “natural born citizen” in the US Constitution…. If he gets nominated I there will be a legal challenge.

If Florida goes underwater, they would just rewrite history to say it never existed in order to keep fossil fuel campaign money coming in.
