I pressed ‘send’ too soon. I meant to add: this is incredibly chilling considering the SOURCE of these sentiments.

It’s both interesting and sad that all but one of his alternatives to imported oil are just other liquids. The interviewer sees fit to include exactly one mention of “electric automobiles” (perhaps it was not the only one, we will probably never know). Meanwhile, electrified rail, electrified highways… not mentioned.
