In the internet age, it is so much easier for like minded people to group up online and reinforce each others beliefs to the point of hysteria. I’m not saying that that is the cause, but it certainly exacerbates it.
The video shocked me. Heretofore, i’ve only seen images of the cretins and the larger march….VERY different to view them in action, with sound.
Frightening.
I never thought that I’d see this again in my lifetime.
Oddly, I was most saddened by the self-identified Canadian who came down to a march around a protest the removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Too often people see Confederate flags among these groups (held by people who drove from Union states) and identify it as a largely Southern problem.
